The President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) - Pangasinan meets with the members of the organization in Lingayen for their first meeting after the May 12 mayoralty election.
LMP-Pangasinan President Manaoag Mayor Jeremy Agerico “Doc Ming” Rosario oversees forty - four chief executives in various towns in the huge province. “Masayang makita muli ang aking mga kapwa mayors pagkatapos ng midterm elections. Bilang current President, kahapon ay pinangunahan natin ang pagtitipon para sa aming unang LMP Pangasinan Chapter meeting—isang pagkakataon para magkamustahan, magbahagi ng mga updates, at ilatag ang mga plano para sa ating mga bayan,” Rosario, a second-term mayor, told the members of the organization.
Provincial Administrator Melicio Pataque represented Pangasinan Governor
Ramon V. Guico III as the honorable guest on the meeting.
“Kasama rin natin si Provincial
Administrator Melicio “Ely” Patague II bilang kinatawan ni Governor Ramon V.
Guico III na patuloy ang suporta sa ating mga lokal na pamahalaan,” Rosario
said.
The Manaoag’s chief executive lauded outgoing Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo
Bataoil – his predecessor in the LMP-Pangasinan – for his guidance on Rosario’s
steering the organization.
“Sa sama-samang pagkilos, mas
maabot natin ang mas progresibong Pangasinan,” the Mayor, a medical doctor and a former seasoned provincial lawmaker, told the members
of the organization.
