Historic ₱8.3-B Budget for P’gasinan in 2026

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — The Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved the Php8,379,222,529 annual budget of Pangasinan for fiscal year 2026. It is the largest in the province’s history, marking an 18.01% increase from the 2025 budget of Php7,100,312,215.


Governor Ramon V. Guico III, who delivered his message before the 15-man provincial lawmakers during the budget hearing on November 26, said the expanded budget reflects the province’s strengthened fiscal position and capability to deliver broader and more sustainable public services.

“Thanks the Gov’t not Me” - Basista Mayor tells Constituents

BASISTA, Pangasinan – The young mayor here told his constituents that they should not be grateful to him but instead to the government for the food and the financial assistance they received after Super Typhoon Uwan scourged recently the landlocked town.

RELIEF STUFFS. Basista, Pangasinan Mayor Jolly ”J.R” Resuello sits on top of the "mountain" of sacks of relief goods composed of five kilos of rice and six noodles for each of the 14, 426 families affected by the scourge of Super Typhoon Uwan.

“Hindi niyo po kami dapat pasalamatan dahil Ito po ay hindi namin pera kundi pera ng taong bayan na dapat po lamang ang lahat ay mabahagian at makinabang. Trabaho po namin na kayo po ay paglingkuran, masuportahan, at matulungan sa mga panahon ng kalamidad,” Mayor Jolly “J.R” Resuello said on his Facebook Page.

RECENTLY, fellow columnist Brando Cortez told me to come pronto at Lenox Hotel in Dagupan City for a meeting with Rep. Jack Enrile (1st District, Province of Cagayan).

BBM Appoints P'sinan Guv RPOC Chair

Pangasinan Governor Ramon V. Guico III lauded President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Juan Victor C. Remulla for his appointment as the chairman of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) in Region-1.

He will serve the post from 2025 to 2028.



The region covers Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and the garguntuan province of Pangasinan.

P’sinan Ranks 7th in Revenue Collec. Nationally

 LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Governor Ramon V. Guico III received the awards on behalf of the province for being ranked 7 in Locally Sourced Revenues (LSR) for the year 2024 and 10th in Year-on-Year Growth in Local Sourced Revenues from 2023 to 2024, nationwide.

P8-B Budget for P’gasinan in 2026

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The provincial government of Pangasinan will have an P8 billion annual appropriation budget in year 2026, according to Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino. 

Pinasa po natin on first reading iyong proposed annual budget ng Lalawigan ng Pangasinan this is amounting a little over P8 billion. It is an increase of about a billion for the 2025 annual budget. Tapos ito po ay nasa Committee ng Appropriation ngayon,” Lambino told recently reporters here.

He added that come end of November this year that mammoth budget will be passed by the provincial lawmakers.
