MANGALDAN – A United States affiliated
college in Manila conferred recently a doctorate honorary degree to the mayor
of this thriving town.

Bruce, the Founder- President of Philippine
Christian College in Manila, said that after a rigorous evaluation by his school, Mayor Bona Fe de Vera hurdled the criteria to be a recipient of the honoris cause for the Doctor of Public
Administration.
“Nakasunod
po siya sa requirements sa Hall of Discipline. Ni researched po namin ang
pagkata-o niya as mayor, ni researched namin kayo na isang siyan taong full of
discipline. Full of Divinity and fear of God,” Bruce told Parayno during
the latter conferment just before the start of her State of the Municipality
Address held at this town plaza recently.
The Bishop cited the mayor for being a
good servant of the Lord and guides her people to fear the Lord.
Bruce, who cited he was a former dean
of Dela Salle University, said everybody can have a doctorate degree as long as
they passed the dissertation’s requirements
“Ang
ginagawa po namin sa ating minamahal na mayor is an honorary doctorate degree
na ibig sabihin po isa po siyang taong onorable’, isang taong kagalang-galang,
at isang taong karapat dapat sa tungkulin sa kanyang ginagampanan”.

awarded in another venues by Bruce with
the International Academy for
Leadership and Management (IALM), in partnership with Alliance of Chaplains for
Transformation Society (ACTS) based in Edmond, Oklahoma, USA, were Philippine National Police Director General
Ronaldo “Bato” De La Rosa, Albay province Board Member Victor Ziga Jr., Isabela
Gov. Faustino “Bojie” Dy 3rd, Cagayan Gov. Manuel Mamba, Rosales, Pangasinan
Mayor Susan Casareno, Binmaley Pangasinan Mayor Samuel Rosario, Ilagan City Mayor Vedasto Villanueva,
businessman Mariano Bassig, Engr. Abdon Antipolo, Judge German Ballesteros 3rd;
and Dr. Mario Danao.
