CALASIAO
– The reward of one hundred thousand pesos to people who could pin point the
killers of a businessman in Dagupan City has been announced by the deceased
daughter.
Charisse Victorio,
a former reporter of GMA-7 TV in Northern Luzon, said that anybody who has
knowledge for Rolando Gonzales Victorio’s killing could contact this town’s
police station.
She cited
that her sixty two years old father suffered five stab wounds on his neck and
chest from an unknown killer inside his sport utility vehicle in Barangay
Mancup here.
She said
her father's shoulder bag that contained his cellphone, papers, and tens of thousands
of pesos was taken by the male and female assailants.
Chief
Inspector Rizalino Suarez cited that on or about 9:15 pm of January 28, 2017,
Gary Castro, a tricycle driver and resident of the village, informed the police
of a blooded body inside the vehicle parked at Sitio Nagsangaan of the
barangay.
“He saw a male and female persons alighted
from it and then boarded a motorcycle and left towards the direction of San
Carlos City,” Suarez cited the spot report.
He said
that Victorio was brought by the personnel of this town’s Municipal Disaster
Risk Reduction Management Council to the nearby Pangasinan Provincial Hospital
in San Carlos City, Pangasinan but was pronounced dead by the physician there.
Both
Suarez and the deceased daughter said the police stare at a blank wall to the identities of the perpetrators.
“Tinitingnan namin about doon sa business
transaction kasi nagpapautang iyan may mga transaction na hinde alam ng family
niya. Tinitingnan namin baka may kuneksiyon din or may relasyon sila,”
Suarez said.
He said
that the wife of Victorio told policemen that at 6 pm of that fateful day,
Rolando called her from Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija that he was bound to their house in
Barangay Bonuan Gueset in Dagupan City.
The
family learned about the brutal incident after Suarez saw that he knew
personally the cadaver.
The
deceased is the cousin of retired police general Wilson Victorio who lives in
San Quintin, Pangasinan.
