Lingayen, Pangasinan - Four men onboard a white Mitsubishi FB van were
killed in an armed encounter between
policemen at Brgy. Pao, Manaoag this province at about 1:45 am of
October 14, 2016.
Investigation conducted by this Office led by Police Senior Supt. Ronald Lee,
Acting Provincial Director disclosed that the neutralized suspects were
involved in the robbery incident at Centrum Gasoline Station located along Brgy.
Babasit same town wherein suspects were identified as RODRIGO BATUCAN y
Porquerinio, 49 years old, married, a resident of 1350 Gordon Ave. Pag-Asa,
Olangapo City, EDWIN IGNACIO y Romero, 41 years old, married, a resident of
BTPI Complex, Nagbalayong, Morong, Bataan, TOMMY D MIRANDA, 41 years old,
married a resident of Cuyab, San Pedro, Laguna and one still unidentified male
person.
During the crime scene
processing, the SOCO team able to recover the following items: Three (3) units Colt
Caliber 45 Pistol; with Serial Numbers 9111243, 928193 and 806573; One (1) unit
Shooter Protector Caliber 38 revolver; Eighteen (18) pieces fired cartridge
cases for caliber 5.56mm; Five (5) pieces fired cartridge cases for caliber 45; One (1) piece live ammo for
caliber 45; Two (2) pieces live ammo for caliber 38; Four (4) pieces cartridge
cases for caliber 38; One (1) piece black camel sling bag containing assorted
IDs , key chain with keys, one (1) piece yellow tickler with written list of
victims for Murder (GFH); One (1) piece Nike sling bag containing assorted IDs,
coins and medicine; One (1) piece Claw bar; One (1) piece plier; One (1) piece Crocodile
Jack; One (1) piece receipt printer; One (1) piece plastic bag of blank
receipt; One (1) piece Centrum vest; One (1) piece black jacket; Two (2) pieces
Police ballcap; One (1) piece Centrum ballcap; Two (2) pieces PNP athletic
shirt and One (1) piece Maong Jacket.
Further,
recovered from the suspect’s body TOMMY MIRANDA - one (1) piece black leather
wallet containing assorted IDs, documents and cash money amounting to Php
1,150.00; RODRIGO BANTUCAN- one (1) unit color yellow cellphone; EDWIN IGNACIO-
One (1) unit cellphone, one (1) piece bracelet and one (1) piece purse coin and
unidentified suspect one (1) unit cellphone.
The Pangasinan Police
Provincial Office made a lateral coordination with the respective place of residences
of the said suspects in order to determine their other possible cases and
involvement in illegal activities including the real identity of the unidentified
malefactor suspect. Moreover, the related documents recovered were now under
the extensive verification/validation in order to find out its connection with
the previous shooting/robbery incidents committed in our AOR.
