“Election is still too far. The situation is still fluid," said by the de Venecia who once ran for the presidency and lost to President Joseph Estrada.
Roxas landed Number seven at the March 1 to 7, 2015 Pulse Asia’s survey behind Vice President Binay (29%), Senator Grace Poe (14%), Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada (12%), Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte (12%), Senator Merriam Santiago (9%), and Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. (4%) while on its March 20-23, 2015 poll at Social Weather Station he placed tied at Duterte at No.3 with 15% behind Binay (36%), Poe (31%) .
One of the factors local kibitzers blamed were his staff poor handling of the media whenever he comes here.
“His PR do not take care of the media needs unlike presidential hopefuls Senator Alan Peter Cayetano and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who gave the members of the 4th estate press kits and others" one pundit cited.
The group of Roxas supporters led by Samar Congressman Mel Sarmiento and Jovy Bengzon were here for consultation with the public.
Meanwhile, unless she runs into another office Pangasinan Congresswoman Gina de Venecia would run for reelection, according to spouse former House Speaker Joe de Venecia.

“She is still the best. She is extremely capable. She has bought many achievements as congresswoman for her district,” he stressed.
