Shabu King, 3 others busted in Calasiao

CALASIAO – A notorious illegal drug pusher included in the provincial police office (PPO) list for neutralization was arrested here recently.

Joint operatives of Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Operation Task Group (PAID-SOTG), Provincial Infantry Battalion (PIB), Provincial Public Safety  Company (PPSC) Pangasinan PPO arrested Julius Ordonio Ticman alias “Toti”, 27 years old, single, jobless, and a resident of Sitio Lasip, Barangay Buenlag here.
"If Daria Fatima Lim was dubbed as Shabu Queen, Toti is the Shabu King of Calasiao," an intelligence operative here who asked anonymity said.
Lim was arrested here more than a month ago.

According to Supt. Joseph Rizaldy A. Dalope, chief of police of this town, a police agent acted as poseur buyer bought from Ticman one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu in exchanged for the marked money previously recorded in the police blotter. Upon body search, searching police officer was able to recover from possession, control and custody of the suspect another two heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing while crystalline granules suspected to be shabu.
Also confiscated from the suspect in plain view during the trade in his makeshift hut were 13 live ammunitions for Caliber 22. Inventory and markings of the seized items were conducted at the place of incident in the presence of village officials. Policemen brought Ticman to the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City for medico-legal examination and subsequently to PNP Crime Laboratory Office, Lingayen, Pangasinan together with the confiscated items for laboratory and drug test examination.
Cases for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 12 , Article II of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act  and RA 10591 or Comprehensive Firearms & Ammunition Regulation Act are being prepared for filing against him.

Meanwhile, Anastacio Claveria Apales, 50, and his son Julius Esquerra Apales, 19, were arrested after they came out from a makeshift cockpit in Brgy. Macabito here, according to Chief Inspector Rolando S, Quejado – this town’s Deputy Chief of Police .
Confiscated from Anastacio , who is under this town’s police drug’s Watch List, was one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu he sold to the police poseur buyer and one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet alleged shabu. Taken from Julius during a body search was three plastic sachets believed to be shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Inventory and markings of the confiscated items were conducted at the place of incident in the presence of barangay officials. The duo was brought to R1MC in Dagupan City for medico-legal examination and to PNP Crime Laboratory Office, Lingayen, Pangasinan together with the confiscated items for drug test.

Moreover, on April 28 this town’s police and members of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) nabbed Jovill Berin Corbilla, 31, at Brgy. Gabon here.
Confiscated from the suspect were one piece heat sealed believed to be shabu and four pieces heat sealed alleged to be shabu during body search. 
According to the spot report, inventory and markings of the confiscated items were conducted at the place of the incident in the presence of village officials. 
She was brought too at the R1MC for medico –legal examination and to the PNP Crime laboratory office, Lingayen, Pangasinan together with the confiscated items for drug test.
The father and son Apales and Berin were each charged with violation of sections 5, 11, and 12 of Article II Republic Act 9165.
