BEEF FESTIVAL. Revelers milled around
the three carabao mascots of Mangaldan, Pangasinan during the
celebration of
the Pindang Festival at the stretch of the main thoroughfare of the burgeoning
town.
The street party held in March 3, 2017 was
one of the features of the town fiesta that is regularly
celebrated by Mangaldaneans from March 1 to 10.
The Festival is intended to honor the town’s meat vendors and those involved in
the pindang industry.
The vaunted Pindang or thin slices of
dried and cured carabao meat, the tastiest in Northern Luzon, is the town’s
“One-Town, One-Product (OTOP). There are 68 meat stalls selling pindang in the
