𝗟INGAYEN, 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻-The Provincial Government of Pangasinan hosted the 4th Voters' Education and Registration Fair of the COMELEC as well as the first Automated Counting Machine (ACM) Public Demonstration.

Commission on Elections Chairman George Erwin M. Garcia; Executive Director Teopisto E. Elnas, Jr.; and other officials from the COMELEC main office led the activity, which aimed to provide information on voter’s rights, explain the importance of voting, and present the machine that will be used for the May 12, 2025, national and local elections.

Provincial Legal Officer (PLO) Baby Ruth Torre, who represented Gov. Ramon V. Guico III, said that it is highly significant that the Comelec event took place in Pangasinan, beginning in the City of Dagupan and culminating in Lingayen, the capital town of the province.

Atty. Torre called on everyone to protect the integrity of the ballot and the safety of the Filipino voting public.

Relative to this, the province of Pangasinan assured its full support for all efforts that guarantee free, clean, and honest elections.

“Democracy strengthens when people exercise their privilege of choosing the leaders that will represent them. Let us not take the value of our votes for granted,” lawyer Torre added. (PIO News)

Free Contraceptives

More than a hundred women from this town received lately free progestin subdermal contraceptive implants insertion and removal services as part of the Family Planning Month celebration.

Pangasinan Provincial Population Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office (PPCLDO) spearheaded the activity in partnership with the local government unit headed by Mayor Parayno, Municipal Health Office (MHO) under Dr. Larry B. Sarito, and Municipal Cooperatives Officer (MCO) under Dr. Rosallie R. Hulipas.

A progestin subdermal contraceptive implant is a small, flexible rod inserted under the skin of the upper arm to prevent pregnancy for up to three years while an intrauterine device (IUD) is a form of birth control that a healthcare provider inserts into the uterus. Once it's inserted, it can prevent pregnancy for up to 10 years or more, depending on the specific type.

There was no opposition among the leadership of the Catholic Church to the advocacy of the Parayno Administration to reduce demography in the central Pangasinan town.

“Wala naman,” quipped by Mayor Parayno when asked if the Priests still oppose the government program.

The hierarchy of the Catholic Church have vehemently resisted since time immemorial the distribution of contraceptives as they favor only the natural methods like lactational infertility, rhythm method, sexual abstinence, coitus interruptus, and others.

Economic Growth and a Manageable Population

Two papers from the School of Economics in the University of the Philippines illustrate the connection between rapid population growth and poverty by comparing the economic growth and population growth rates of Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Population and Poverty: the Real Score (2004), and Population, Poverty, Politics and the Reproductive Health Bill (2008) explained that Thailand and Indonesia grew economically more rapidly than the Philippines due to lower population growth rates. The Papers stressed that "the experience from across Asia indicates that a population policy cum government-funded [family planning] program has been a critical complement to sound economic policy and poverty reduction.”

By comparison, the two countries’ population growth rates, which were similar to the Philippines’ in the early 1970s, are down to 1.4% and 1.5%, respectively (Chart 1). Likewise, while Thailand’s poverty incidence is down to 9.8% and Indonesia’s to 18.2%, the Philippines’ poverty incidence remains high at 33% (all official figures reported in ADB 2004).

The present populations of Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines are 71.7 million (2022, World Bank), 275.5 million (2022 World Bank), and 109 million (2020 Census) respectively.

Si Pogi ay nakikita ng mga political observers na lalaban uli sa pagka gobernador sa kay Guico sa susunod na taong eleksyon.

Ang pagsama ni dating Congresswoman De Venecia ay lalong magpapalakas sa Alyansang Aguila at maging kawalan lalo sa mga Espino dahil ang mga alkalde ng mga bayan ng Mangaldan, San Fabian, San Jacinto, at Manaoag kung saan ang katapatan nila ay sa mga De Venecia ay siguradong kasama na rin ng Aguila.

Bukod sa bayan ng Bautista at Bugallon at siyudad ng Urdaneta, lahat ng alkalde sa two cities at forty-two towns ay susuporta kay Guico sa susunod na taong eleksyon.

Kamakailan nakikita sa social media na ang lima sa anim na alkalde ng Pangasinan 3rd District – pinakamalaking distrito sa anim na distritong probinsiya – ay kasama na ni Guico sa Partidong Nationalista niya. Mali ang mga Banat ng mga Kritiko ni Guico

Napapailing ako sa kababawan sa pagkumentaryo nitong mga writers at radio announcers na bumagsak daw ang competitiveness ng Province of Pangasinan sa Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMMI) at inili-link na salarin ang pamunuan ni Governor Monmon Guico.

Teka, paano nasali ang kakayahan ni Guico sa pagbagsak ng ekonomiya ng probinsiya? E ang pangalan ng pansukat ng Department of Trade & Industry ay “Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index” - wala akong nakita na “provincial government” o “province” sa pamagat?

Ito ang pagpapakila ng CMMI sa kanilang oufit:

Scores are determined by the values of the actual data, as well as the completeness of the submitted data. The higher the score of a city or municipality, the more competitive it is.

Dahil nag-aaway ang oposisyon na majority na mambabatas at pro-administrasyon na minority na mambabastos, este, mambabatas sa ilalim ni Mayor Belen T. Fernandez ng Dagupan City at dahil si Mayor ay naki-ayon sa Department of Public Works & Highway (DPWH) na bungkalin ang mga kalsada at gawin singtaas ng entablado ng boxing na naging dahilan na kumunti ang tumatangkilik sa mga negosyante doon kaya bumagsak ang ekonomiya sa nakalipas na dalawang taon ng second class na siyudad ayon sa hepe ng BIR, kasalanan ba ito ni Gobernador na humina ang isa o dalawang pillars ng CMMI?

Kasama ang Dagupan sa CMMI kahit na independent component city ang paluging siyudad na ang mga botante ay di sumasali sa eleksyon ng gobernador at mga miyembro ng provincial lawmaking body.

Dahil natupok ng apoy ang malaking parte ng palengke ng San Carlos City dahil iisa lang ang fire truck na tumulong, hihina ang koleksyon ng second class city sa taong ito. kasalanan ba ng provincial government iyong pagbaba ng kuleksyon niya?

Ganoon din sa 44 na bayan na nasa ilalim ng provincial government.

Walang saysay iyong 2023 ranking ng DTI at CMMI na No. 32 at 52 si Pangasinan at si Cebu (isa sa pinakamayaman na probinsya sa Pinas) sa ranking dahil nakabase ang galing niya sa performances ng local government units niya.

“Provincial rankings are based on population and income weighted average of the Overall scores of cities and municipalities,” ani ng bahagi ng pagpapakilala ng CMMI.

COA ANG TAMANG BATAYAN

Ang maasahan na basehan ay ang Report of the Commission on Audit (COA) na nagpapakita na ang nangunguna sa 10 Richest Provinces of the Philippines ay si Cebu na may asset na P235.738 billion noong taong 2022. Si Pangasinan ay nasa No. 16 na may asset na P15.9 billion. Walumpudalawa (82) ang dami ng probinsya sa Pilipinas.

Pakinggan ang sinabi ni Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia kung paano mapanatili ng administrasyon niya ang No. 1 Ranking ng Cebu sa 2024 COA report. Tumaas ng P309 billion ang asset ng Cebu noong December 31, 2023, aniya sa State of Province Address (SOPA) niya. Tumaas ito ng P74 billion kumpara noong 2022. Ang buwis na nakulekta ng provincial government, ani Garcia, ay tumaas ng P1.1 billion o 77 porsiyento kumpara noong 2022 na P181.9 billion noong 2023.

Tingnan dito sa ilalim kung paano pinataas ni Guico ang koleksyon pinansyal ng lalawigan.

Kamakailan 40,000 sako o dalawang milyong kilo ng Agricultural Grade Salt Fertilizer (AGSF) ang binili ng supplier ng Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) mula sa Pangasinan Salt Center sa Barangay Zaragosa, Bolinao, Pangasinan.

Iyong banat ng mga kritiko na nalulugi ang 14 ospitals ng Kapitolyo, ito ang sinabi ng gobernador sa mga reporters matapos pinasinayaan ng provincial government si 2024 Miss World Multinational Philippines Ms. Nikki Buenafesa sa Sison Auditorium sa Lingayen noong Hulyo 29.

‘Of course mas efficient ang management of our hospitals (inaudible) koleksyon natin from PhilHealth we have to impose our administrative function like the filing of our PhilHealth claim once we impose that mas malaki ang papasok. Kasi dati iyong (hospitals) nagbibigay ng malaking pagkalugi pero ngayon we are focusing on better hospital services at the same time efficient collection kaya na tatarget po natin ngayon ang koleksyon target natin”.  

Bukod sa kikitain ng Kapitol sa bayad ng PhilHealth sa mga ospitals, nakikita ng mga dalubhasa na makakakulekta sa pagitan ng P200 million at P300 million ngayon taon sa quarry. Noong huling taon ni Governor Amado “Pogi” Espino III (first semester) nasa P12 million lamang ang kuleksyon ng provincial government sa quarry sa kabuunan ng 2022.

Galing sa budget na P5.7 billion ngayon taon, layunin ng Guicio Administration ang P7 billion budget ng provincial government sa 2025.

SEAL OF GOOD LOCAL GOVERNANCE, MAY SILBI PA BA?

Doon naman sa banat ng mga kritiko na nabigo si Kapitolyo na manalo noong nakalipas na taon sa Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).

Ito ang sinulat ko na may pamagat “Gold Standard’s SGLG, Pala-os na Ba?” (January 17, 2024 P’nan News) na hindi na rin praktikal na basehan ang SGLG dahil 28 ang nanalo sa 82 probinsiya sa buong bansa. Hindi ko pa sinasabi dito ang dami ng di sumasali sa mga bayan at siyudad.

“Nakausap ko ang isang mataas na opisyal ng lalawigan (province) na kaya nilang manalo ng SGLG pero pinili nilang di na tugunan ang mga kinakailangan para sila ay mabigyan ng Gold Standard.

“Ito ang seven governance areas needed na dapat makamit bago manalo: Financial Administration; Disaster Preparedness; Social Protection; Peace and Order; Business Friendliness and Competitiveness; Environmental Protection; and Tourism, Culture and the Arts.

“Tingnan ninyo ang requirement sa Disaster Preparedness, dapat 70% ng 5% (ayon sa sinasaad ng Local Government Code) na budget kada taon sa kaban ay dapat tuparin,” ani ng mataas na opisyal sa akin.

“Ang 5% ng isang probinsiya na merong P5 billion na annual budget ay P250 million. Ang 70% niyan na kailangan gastusin sa Calamity Fund or Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (LDRRMF) ay P175 million.

“Ilan ang award pag nanalo ang isang province sa SGLG? P4 million, sobrang barya lamang! Talo ang kaban ng P171 million!

“Iyang mga concern na iyan na dapat bilhin o gastusan ay training, life-saving rescue equipment gaya ng life jackets, speed boat, vehicles, others.

“Taon taon ay dapat mabili o magawa iyang mga nakasaad sa sinulat ko sa itaas. Paano kung noong taong 2019, 2020 at 2021 ay nakabili na ng life jackets, speed boat, vehicles?

  “Di ba extravagance at duplicity na sila? Baka malunod ang mga taga LGUs sa dami ng mga gamit na iyon na sinasayang lang, hahaha!”

Prov. Gov’t Health Facilities, Hospitals of Choice

 

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: With the establishment of additional health facilities, procurement of state-of-the-art medical equipment, hiring of more health practitioners, and training, all 14 provincial government-run hospitals are now “hospitals of choice.”

In his first few months in service in 2022, Governor Ramon V. Guico III ordered the hiring of additional health practitioners to be deployed in the various district and community hospitals in Pangasinan. From 3,117 in 2023 (1,826 health and 1,291 non-health personnel), the total number of both health and non-health personnel climbed to 3,221 in 2024 (1,910 health and 1,311 non-health personnel).

Various capability enhancement trainings were likewise conducted for health practitioners stationed in the different district and community hospitals.

In 2023, the province inked a partnership with the Department of Health-Center for Health Development 1 that facilitated the deployment of a Residency Training Program to reinforce the human resource requirement in government hospitals. A memorandum of agreement (MOA), on the other hand, was signed by Gov. Guico in February 2024 with the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center for the implementation of the Nursing Skills Training Program in Pangasinan.

Aside from enhancing the skills of medical workers and augmenting the number, the province also acquired new medical and laboratory equipment, including 21 ultrasounds, six computed tomography (CT) scans, one magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and 10 X-ray machines.

The Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients (MAIFIP) program played a pivotal role in assisting indigent patients and those who are financially incapacitated. With this, a hefty amount of P461,801,375.00 was downloaded to the province, made possible through the signing of five separate Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs).

In the first MOA, the province received a total of P269,570,375.65, of which P267,332,429.59 was utilized. For the second MOA, P37,026,000.00 was downloaded, and P37,035,999.92 was utilized. An amount of P72,765,000.00 was granted in the third MOA, with P69,258,840.17 utilized. In the fourth MOA, the province received P55,440,000.00 and utilized a total of P47,969,270.89. An amount of P27,000,000.00 came from the fifth MOA, in which the province utilized P33,600,000.00. Sources of funds came from the health department and various senators, congressmen, party-list representatives, and other leaders.

To provide additional health facilities, the present administration endeavors to build hemodialysis centers in all district hospitals in Pangasinan. Recently, Gov. Guico led the groundbreaking of a three-storey building at Lingayen District Hospital. Upgrading the bed capacities of the various health facilities is also among the thrusts of the provincial government.

It can also be recalled that the province launched the Pangasinan Community-Based Konsulta Plus program to increase the utilization of healthcare services, particularly among vulnerable populations, based on their needs. This is just one of the many health projects of the present administration to achieve its thrust in instituting preventive health programs in the province.

Based on the report prepared by the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital Management Services Office (PHMSO), a total of 64,563 patients were admitted to the 14 government hospitals as of July 31, 2024.

Dr. Racki Senin Ogoy of the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital Management Services Office said the growing number of patients is an indication that provincial government-run hospitals are now hospitals of choice.

CALASIAO, Pangasinan – Nangangamba ang isang concerned citizen dito sa pagdagsa ng dami na nagpapa-rehistro na mga botante sa opisina ng Commission Election (Comelec) dito.

Ani ng source na ayaw magpabanggit ng pangalan, kailangan daw ang pagrehistro ng isang kolehiyo sa Pangasinan 3rd Congressional District para mapasali sa Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) . Ang TES ay may mga pangunahing benepisyo:

* Para sa mga Private Higher Education Institution, hanggang P60,000 per academic year sa tuition fees at iba pang gastusin;

* Sa State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), hanggang P40, 000 kada academic year sa allowance at education related expenses.

Nangangamba ang source na baka maulit ang paglobo ng flying voters dito gaya noong nakalipas na eleksyon.

Aniya bakit ni rehistro ng Comelec dito na walang Certificate of Residency (CoR) ang ibang botante.

“Iyang mga nanggaling dito mga ilan sila mga sampo. “Naka register na ba kayo?” “Oo”. “Hinanapan ba kayo ng Certificate of Registration?” “Hindi,” tanong niya sa mga bagong botante na pumunta sa Comelec dito.

Nakalagay sa mga kailangan ng TES na ang isang bagong aplikante sa pagiging iskolar ay kailangan magbigay ng mga sumusunod: proof of enrollment, people’s with disability card, certificate of residency o valid government issued I.D.

Noong nagtanong sa mga kaganapan ang manunulat na ito sa opisina ng Comelec, sinabi ng staff na si Rosalie Cabucon na hindi niya masagot ang writer na ito dahil wala ang Election Officer nila.

Ang TES ay programa ng CHED para matulungan ang mga estudyante para matustusan ang kanilang edukasyon.

Ayon sa Omnibus Election Code ang prohibited acts ng election offenses ay “Any person who, being a registered voter, registers anew without filing an application for cancellation of his previous registration (Section 261, parag (5)”.

Babala ni Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco: “Ang pagrerehistro po ng dalawa o higit pang beses para ang maging purpose po ay maging flying voter ay pinaparusahan ng batas bilang election offense, may pagkakakulong po ito ng isa hanggang anim na taon, pagkakatanggal ng karapatang bumoto at pagpataw po ng perpetual disqualification to hold public office. Hindi na po kayo makakabalik sa pamahalaan, kahit anong posisyon, mataas man o mababa, elected man o appointee".

Duwag Tayo, Hawak ng China ang Bayag Natin

Kahapon ng madaling araw binangga at sinira na naman ng dalawang bapor ng CCG ang dalawang barko ng PCG habang magsusupply sana ang huli sa Patag at Lawak Islands malapit sa Escoda Shoal sa Spratly Islands.

Ang unang pagbangga ay nangyari noong 3:24 Lunes ng madaling araw ng salpukin ng CCG ang BRP Cape Engaño kung saan nabutasan ng limang pulgada ang deck ng huli.

May mga Filipino rin na nagtatrabaho sa Mainland China at Macau dahil madilim pa sa aspalto ng DPWH at alkitran ng yerong bubong sa Payatas ang pag asa ng mga Pinoy na makahanap ng magandang trabaho sa Pinas. Sisihin natin ang prublemang ekonomiya na iyan sa 60-40 percent equity na nakasaad sa Constitution natin na pumapabor sa mga bundat ang tiyan na Pinoy oligarchs. Kukumentaryuhan ko iyan ulit sa ibang araw dito sa blog/column ko.

May 5.45 milyon (Statista.com) na Intsik na turista na dumagsa sa Pinas noong 2023. Pag maraming turista marami rin ang dolyares natin dahil nagsusunog sila ng pera dito kaya may trabaho ang ibang kababayan natin.

Noong nagkita-kita kami sa World Trade Center nila Department of Foreign Affairs's Undersecretary Eduardo Jose A. de Vega at Assistant Secretary Roberto “Bobby” Ferrer, Jr. sa International Food Expo (IFEX) sa Pasay City noong Mayo, tinanong ko ang isa sa kanila: Bakit ayaw natin manawagan sa mga Merkano para gamitin ang lakas ng sandatahan nila sa pamamagitan ng 1951 Mutual Defense Treaty laban sa di na mabilang na pang aabuso ng mga Intsik, “dahil ba takot tayo na ihinto ng China ang daang bilyones na peso na merkado natin sa China?” ani ko.

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan – “No way!” Iyan ang mariin na sinabi ni Senator Imee Marcos kung paano niya tinanggihan ang intensyon ng mga De Venecia na makipagbati sa kanya at sa Pangulo ng Pilipinas.

“Five times na lumapit sa amin, no way!” salaysay ni Vice Mayor Constante “Danny” Baterina Agbayani sa manunulat na ito ang sinabi sa kanya ng Senadora, “Hindi namin hinarap: No way! No Way!”.

Si Senator Imee ay nakakatandang kapatid ni President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. habang ang mga De Venecias ay binubuo nila dating Five-Time Speaker Joe de Venecia, dating Pangasinan 4^th District Cong. Gina “Manay” de Venecia, at Pangasinan 4^th District Rep. Christopher “Toff” de Venecia.

Hindi pa rin makakalimutan ng mga Marcoses kung paano dinala sa Pangasinan ni dating Congresswoman Manay si 2022 presidential candidate Leni Robredo na kaparehas niyang Bicolana.

Tinalo ni ngayong President Marcos si Robredo ng may 16, 594, 010 botong agwat sa eleksiyon sa taon na iyon.

Ani Mayor Agbayani na pinatawag siya at ang kanyang kabiyak na si Mayor Marlyn Espino Agbayani sa tahanan ng mga De Venecia sa Brgy. Bonuan Binloc sa Dagupan City para hikayatin ang political family na bigyan ng 20, 000 boto si Robredo noong 2022 eleksyon.

“Noong meeting namin pinatawag kaming mag-asawa doon sa kuwarto nila. Si Manay sabi niya: “Danny bigyan mo kami ng 20,000 votes ng Robredo. Sumagot ako: “Maam hindi puede pinsan ko ang Marcos sabi ko”. “Di puede iyan!” “Oo Maam kahit ano pa ang mangyari”. “Lumabas ka, sabi niya. Pinalabas ako”.

Dahil “bad shot” – kung hiramin natin ang sikat na akusasyon ni First Lady Liza Marcos kay Vice President Sara Duterte – na sila De Venecia sa mga Marcoses gustong palabanan ng pamilya si dating Congresswoman Gina sa susunod na taong eleksyon.

“Kasi wala sila pagpipilian. Si Belen (Fernandez alkalde ng Dagupan City), Si Brian (Lim, dating alkalde ng Dagupan City) at si Duque,”,” “kuwento ni Agbayani,”.

Maraming nagalit na mga pulitiko sa Pangasinan noong bitbitin nila Speaker Joe, Manay, at Cong. Toff si Robredo dito sa dambuhalang lalawigan na may mahigit tatlong milyon na populasyon.

Dahil sa ginawa nila tinawag ni Pangasinan 1^st District Cong. Art Celeste ang mga De Venecia na laos na na mga pulitiko.

"In 2016, they (de Venecias) who (sic) were with the Liberal Party campaigned hard for Mar Roxas (for President and Leni Robredo for Vice President, but they (Mar-Leni) lost miserably in Pangasinan despite the massive resources of the 'yellows' then," former First District Cong. Naalaala niya na ang party-list na Inang Mahal ni Gina ay di nakakuha ng maraming boto sa Pangasinan kaya di nakalusot ang huli sa pagiging congresswoman.

"She (Gina) is a Bicolana like Leni Robredo who doesn't care, feel and think like the Ilocanos and Pangasinenses do," quote ng Manila Times kay Celeste.

Sinabi ni Vice Mayor Danny sa mga De Venecia ang paghimok sa kanya ng Malacanang Palace mahigit isang buwan na ang nakaraan.

Aniya si “Luna” ang nagpadala ng text message sa kanya para hikayatin siya na tumakbo at ang kanang kamay ni President Marcos na si Ryan Remegio ang kumukumbinsi sa kanya na labanan si De Venecia.

“Noong tinawagan ako ng right hand ni BBM si Ryan Remegio iyan ang sinabi: “Si Marcos, ikaw ang tumakbong congressman,” noong tanungin siya ng writer na ito sino ang nagpapatakbo sa kanya para congressman sa Pangasinan.

Si Agbayani at ang mga Marcos ay magkakamag-anak sa Vintar, Ilocos Norte.

“Endorse ako ni Imee dito. Iyong mayor dati import from Vintar, Ilocos Norte kamag-anak ko pa,” ani Vice Mayor noong ni quote niya ang sinabi ni Senator Marcos.

Noong pinakita ni Agbayani ang mga text messages galing sa kampo ng Pangulo sa kanila di daw maka-imik ng ilang sandali ang kampo nila De Venecia:

“Sinabi ko iyon sa totoo lang. Hindi sila umimik ang buong pamilya. Iyang sabi ni Manay Chona (kapatid ni Gina): “O Danny anak-anakan ka namin ni Manay Tessie (Doctor Tessie de Venecia pinsan buo ni Speaker)”.

“Iyon naman Maam kahit ano ano ang mangyari di ko kayo lalabanan,” sagot ni Agbayani.

Nakikita ng mga dalubhasa sa pulitika ng Pangasinan na ang mabigat na makakalaban ni Gina de Venecia ay si Health Secretary Francisco “Pingcoy” Duque III na tao ni dating Presidente Rodrigo Duterte noong panahon ng huli.

“Pound for pound or hundreds of millions of pesos for hundreds of millions of pesos of the de Venecias – who lorded the district for 34 years since patriarch former Speaker Joe de Venecia became congressman in Pangasinan,” ani ng isang artikulo sa Northern Watch Newspaper sa kakayahan ni Duque na magpapasaya sa mga botante ng distrito na may 340, 564 botante (20222 Comelec).

Kamakailan may lumalabas na litrato sa social media kung saan kasama ni Duque ang mga opisyales at tauhan ng Commission on Election sa Dagupan City na may caption: “Something big is set to happen”.

Ani Agbayani sa tape recorded na panayam ng writer na ito na maagang namigay ang kampo ng De Venecia ng tig P100,000 sa kada isa sa mga Kapitan sa Dagupan City at P50, 000 kada isa sa mga Kapitan sa apat na bayan ng Distrito.

“Nagbigay ang Dagupan P100 (thousand) singkuenta (P50, 000) dito sa munisipyo,” salaysay ni Vice Mayor, “parang tumunog si Secretary (Duque)”.

Pinaliwanag rin ng isang dating mataas na opisyal sa administrasyon ni dating President Rodrigo Duterte na humingi ng tulong ang mga De Venecia kay Secretary at Special Assistant to the President Bong Go na mag-usap-usap sa Malacanang ang tatlong De Venecia at si Duque para hikayatin ang huli na huwag ng labanan si reelectionist Cong. Toff sa 2022 election dahil last term niya na. Pagkatapos noon puede nang tumakbo si Duque sa May 2025 eleksyon na hindi na kalaban ang mga De Venecia.

Larawan na kumakalat sa social media kung saan si dating Health Secretary Pincoy Duque (kaliwa ng kaliwang larawan) ay nakita sa loob ng opisina ng Comelec sa Dagupan City.

 Ayaw magpabanggit ng pangalan ng mataas na opisyal.

Binanggit pero sa Northern Watch Newspaper ni dating Binmaley Vice Mayor Edgar Maminta na pinatakbo si Manny de Guzman - dating driver ng Kalihim sa Dagupan City – sa pagiging congressman ng Pangasinan 4th Congressional District para sa May 9, 2022 election dahil sa plano ni Duque na maging substitute siya.

Si Maminta – gaya ni De Guzman - ay dating driver ni Duque noong pangulo pa siya ng Lyceum Northwestern University sa Dagupan noong 1990’s.

Pero itong nasabing pag-uusap ng dalawang kampo kay Duterte ay taliwas sa mga pinapakita ni Manay kung saan siya ay agresibo sa pagsulong ng sarili niya social media gaya sa mga palabas niya sa Tiktok at Reel.

Kung gusto ngang tumakbo ni Duque dapat sabayan o higitan niya ang ginagawa na mga pakulo ng mga De Venecia para hindi siya pupulutin sa kangkungan pagkatapos ng bilangan sa May 12, 2025 election.

Modern Stalls Open for Lease

MANGALDAN, Pangasinan – The local government of this burgeoning town opens to everybody the lease of the stalls of its modern public market-east wing.

Although businessmen who live in this first class town are a priority to avail of the commercial spaces they are open too to non-residents here, according to Mayor Bona Fe D. Parayno.

The 52 stalls are being sold to the public that started in August 8 this year.

“Isang magandang pagkakataon at long-term investment ito para sa mga interasado na nais mag-negosyo at mag-benta ng kanilang produkto at serbisyo sa lumalagong ekonomiya ng Mangaldan”, according to the Facebook Page of the Public Information Office – Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

The first come-first serve policy would be implemented to traders who are going to pay the good will that vary depending on the sizes of the stalls.

The following are the requirements before one can avail each of the commercial space:

Sa patuloy na pamamahagi ng Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolk, and Families (PAFFF-OP),1,492 na benepisyaryo ang nahandugan ng tig-sampung libong pisong pinansyal na tulong ngayong araw, ika-14 ng Agosto sa Ramon J. Guico Sr. Sports Complex and Civic Center sa Binalonan, Pangasinan.

Sila ay mula sa mga bayan ng San Fabian, Manaoag, Mangaldan, Alcala, Bautista, Binalonan, Laoac, Pozorrubio, Sto. Tomas, at Villasis.

Matatandaang sa pagbisita ng Pangulo nitong ika-19 ng Hulyo sa lalawigan, siya ay nagkaloob ng tseke na nagkakahalaga ng P48,760.000.00 bilang suporta. sa 4,876 na magsasaka, mangingisda, at kanilang mga pamilya na labis na naapektuhan ng nagdaang El Niño.

Labis na ipinagpasalamat ni Governor Ramon V. Guico III ang tulong mula sa pangulo.

“Sa mga panahong ito tinatawag po na gawat o ito ‘yong planting season lahat po tayo hirap sa puhunan ngayon kaya isa pong malaking tulong ito na ibinigay ng ating Pangulo sa pakikipagtulungan of course with the Provincial Government of Pangasinan at meron ding bababa through the initiative of the congressman of fifth district ang aking ama na si Cong. Moya, Provincial Treasurer Cristy C. Catabay- Ubando katuwang ang ibat-ibang tanggapan ng Kapitolyo gaya ng Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office( PSWDO) na pinamumunuan ni Annabel Roque.

Basista Mayor Jolly R. Resuello visits his constituents in Barangay Bayoyong were their houses, crops, and other properties have been destroyed by a strong “ipo-ipo” or whirlwind that saw their galvanized roofs flown by it, light materials’ made houses fall like playing cards, and big trees uprooted. The young mayor exhorted his unfortunate townmates that his administration would help them on their plight.
