Due to heavy rains brought about by Typhoon "Ineng", the National Power Corporation has issued a notice of dam discharge operation concerning San Roque dam which has a water elevation of 278.28 meters above sea level (masl) as of 8 am today, August 22, 2015.

Though it is yet below the spilling level of 280 masl, the NPC has decided to release water from the dam by 12 noon today, via the two of the six gates of the dam at .5 meter per gate for a total of 400 cubic meters per second to reduce water level from the reservoir "in anticipation of heavy inflow from the upland due to the effect of Typhoon Ineng."
Residents living along the river banks in all the 18 towns and city traversed by the Agno River should take necessary precautions. These towns/city include: San Manuel, San Nicolas, Santa Maria, Asingan, Villasis, Rosales, Balungao, Tayug, Santo Tomas, Alcala, Bayambang, Bautista, Camiling, Urbiztondo, Mangatarem, San Carlos City, Aguilar, Bugallon, Lingayen.
