MANGALDAN - Mayor Bona Fe D. Parayno declares to media men here that comes the 2016 election she runs in tandem with Councillor Pedro Sordilla as her vice mayoralty bet.
“As I said active siya for business development and growth ng Mangaldan at saka sa grass roots sa mga kababayan natin. Alam ko nandiyan ang puso niya,” she explained.
Parayno said she and Surdilla had ran for the mayoralty and vice mayoralty together in 2010 on their first but failed attempt to snatch the positions from then Mayor Herminio Romero and then Vice Mayor Bernardo Abalos.
“Ever since kasama ko na si Attorney Jojo when he was vice mayor (bet) pero pinagbigyan niya ang vice mayorship sa kay (Manny) Casupang (the present vice mayor). So now sa second term, siyempre panahon na niya”.
In the 2013 election Parayno and Casupang won the mayoralty and vice mayoralty from then Mayor Abalos and his vice mayoralty tandem lawyer Joseph Emmanuel Cera.
Just months after their inauguration, Parayno and Casupang, who has moist eyes for the mayorship, had fall out as the latter did not cooperate with her many programs.
Surdilla said he has been supporting the programs of the mayor at the Sangguniang Bayan (legislative council).
“I do not see any reason why I will leave her party. I support our municipal mayor I knew she did well for the progress of Mangaldan,” he said.

Parayno said she has seven councillors as her allies at the council.
The mayor said that in the 2016 poll only four of those seven councillors will seek re-election as the three solons would be finishing their final term of office next year.
The mayor said she and Surdilla will declare before October this year the complete slate of their candidates for the council under the Liberal Party.
