Gov. Espino, Bani Mayor Navarro renew ties

LINGAYEN – The Lakbay Aral tour to the Provincial Capitol of the current and former town and barangay officials of Bani who came in full force was a real delight for both the Bani townspeople and the provincial government as it was not just an ordinary meeting of people but most of all a “coming together” of long lost friends whose strong ties was nearly shattered by politics.
“Masaya ako ngayon,” was what former Bani Mayor Marcelo Navarro  expressed over what seemed to be a renewal of his bond with Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. who, in turn, was equally elated with the turnout of events that they are now together again ready to join hands in the fulfillment of their dreams towards enriching the lives of Pangasinenses transforming Pangasinan as a destination of choice.
Gov. Espino, in his message to almost 200 Pasyar Pangasinan Lakbay Aral participants at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center on August 27, called on the Bani townfolks for their support and cooperation in the continuous pursuit of peace and prosperity.
The governor likewise asked their support in continuing the programs he has started to sustain the status of Pangasinan as a number one province in its various undertakings.

“Magtulong-tulong tayo,” the governor urged everyone as he assured full support to ex-Mayor Navarro, whom the governor treated more than a brother, who remains committed in rendering quality service to the people of Bani.
Meanwhile, Vice-Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim, Jr. also expressed excitement over the new development between the governor and Navarro including the people of Bani.
Board Member and Liga ng mga Barangay President Amado I “Pogi” Espino III who has been gaining extensive popularity like his father, also hailed the restored friendship between the governor and his best friend way back in their years at the Philippine Military Academy.
The board member also pushed for the continuous support of the people in the various reforms that Gov. Espino has introduced since assuming provincial leadership in 2007 as he reiterated Gov. Espino’s message that all efforts and sacrifices being done today are not only for the benefit of the children of the present times but also for the future generation.
