Basista Farmers Recipient of Hybrid, Inbreed Palay Seeds

BASISTA, Pangasinan – The local government unit (LGU) here under Mayor Jolly R. Resuello distributed recently hybrid and inbred palay seeds to constituent’s farmers.

The seeds for distribution have been procured by the LGU, Department of Agriculture, and the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF).

The handing out to the public ensued on May 27, 2024 to May 31, 2024 from 8:00 a.m at the Demo Farm at Sitio Daragin in Brgy. Dumpay, Basista, Pangasinan.

The recipients of the seeds and other aids from the D.A and the LGU were farmers who were registered at the Registry System for the Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA).

Meanwhile, Mayor Resuello received his Certificate of Completion on the Basic Incident Command Training from the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) through the Office of the Civil Defense Office-1.

The 24 hours technical training occured at the Avelino Resort here.

The certificate given to Resuello and other participants was signed by Gregory M. Cayetano, Chairperson of RDRRMC -1 at the office of the regional director of the Civil Defense Regional office.
