IDIOTS AT DPWH

ORTIGOZA A perennial loser in countless electoral exercises in the fourth congressional district told me before that if he wins as provincial board member he will pocket some of the almost P900 thousand social funds given to a board member every quarter of the year. Not only that, he said he will get a percentage too, every time a supplemental budget is deliberated in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. Son of a gun, this is the reason why this country could not be at par with our rich Asian neighbour countries. Kahit ang laos na kandidato, nagpa-plano na kung paano nanakawin ang pera ng kaban ng bayan. Mas mabuti pa si perennial candidate to the provincial board Ed Gonzales, a wannabe media man. When he threatened me that he will not allow me to enter his office at the Capitol in case he wins this May election because of my belittling his capability to win a board seat, and my rebuff that he was just wasting his time (he got no money) ingratiating with voters in the 3rd congressional district to vote for him, I just took it with grain of salt. Ed was just smarting on me. But that bet in the 4th congressional distinct should be vigorously denounced. He is a clear and present danger to our society. Matakew!

 Officials of the Department of Public, Works & Highway in charged of the construction of the Villamil Bridge in Calasiao, Pangasinan are bunch of idiots. DPWH central office ordered them to tear the wall they approved for a private contractor to build that almost cover the façade of the houses that overlook the public market. The houses are built on the river bank near the bridge. Protestor Domingo Ayudante, Jr.” told the personnel of the DPWH based in Sta. Barbara , Pangasinan ( that came to his office) that they are stupid because of their stupid project that covers his “mansion.” Ayudante wrote Secretary Roger Singson about the under siege project. The concrete wall he said has no connection whatsoever to the bridge that is being constructed in a turtle pace. “They just want to get hefty commission from the private contractor.” Even Vice Mayor Roy Macanlalay of Calasiao told me that the wall would be torn off. ” Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”I mimicked former President Ronald Reagan in Berlin, Germany in the Cold War after Vice Mayor told me about the tearing off. Can you imagine the government monies that were lost because of this shenanigan? These DPWH personnel should be sacked from the service.

Talking about sacking, when I dropped by recently at the regional office of the DPWH in San Fernando, La Union a source there told me that my column exposing a stolen government property being peddled by personnel at the district office cost the position of a district engineer – the boss in that office. He was investigated by the NBI after a complainant filed a complaint here using my column as one of the evidences.
