balances/savings ng Local School Board Fund from 2014 up to 2017.
multi-purpose court,” the mayor stressed in Tagalog in the 41 pages SOMA Department Head Helen Abalos-Aquino furnished to this paper.
The mayor mentioned also the 180 scholars from Grade 7 to
Grade 12 who were beneficiaries of the P1.6 million appropriation.
Parayno moreover cited the multi-million pesos she interceded for
the Brigada Eskuela, Local School Board’s teachers, financial assistance on
sports, school maintenance, and other related school activities.
“At
Parayno added that another P100,000.00 was given by
her administration for the maintenance and other expenses of the 27 public
schools here.
The Local Government Code of the Philippines
mandates that 1% of the millions of pesos real property tax (RPT) will accrue to the
Special Education Fund (SEF) and shall be automatically released to the
local school boards, and others.
The local school board is chaired by the mayor and co-chaired by the local
school district supervisor.
