They were joined by members of various parishes and congregations here who came to witness the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament during a Eucharistic adoration and procession.
Prayers were offered after the procession, which was followed by the Eucharistic celebration offered and presided by Archbishop Socrates Villegas of Lingayen-Dagupan Archdiocese.
This year’s celebration, which carries with the theme: “One Body of Christ, one Lord of All!” was spearheaded by the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Bonuan Gueset, in coordination with the Dagupan City government.
This was held in conjunction with the 30th year anniversary of the Parish.
The celebration of the Solemnity of Christ the King brings to an end the Church’s liturgical year and signals the observance of the following Sunday as the First Sunday of Advent. (Verdelle De Vera/CIO)
