CALASIAO – The president of the  League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) endorsed AMO Plant Growth Enhancer after farmers told him the double yield harvest of their palay after they used the fertilizer.

Sabi ng isang farmer doon na meron kaming nasubukan iyong AMO, bago iyan  sinabi  niya marami na ang gumagamit na nadoble ang halaman nila,” Luis Chavit Singson told mayors in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur about the efficacy of the revolutionary seaweed fertilizer.

REVOLUTIONARY. Former Pangasinan Third District Congressman Eric Acuña (right at front row photo) and manager of AMO Growth Enhancer explains to former Ilocos Sur Governor and Narvacan Mayor Luis “Chavit” Singson  how revolutionary in terms of yields for the Filipino farmers the seaweed based fertilizer.

He jested to the local executives that incase AMO failed to live up to its reputation they should  not reelect him in the LMP poll in year 2020.

“So kayong mga mayors ini endorsed ko itong AMO garantisado iyan. Huwag ninyo na akong ibotong  (president-) mayor kung hindi…..”, Singson said amid the cheers and applauses of the mayors.

Because of the attestation of the farmers who tried the fertilizer, Singson, a former Ilocos Sur governor, said that he would be a new member of the 6, 000 strong farmers in Narvacan.

“Congressman Eric, nagpahanda na ako ng demo farm para magtanim ako para makita ko mismo iyong mga sinasabi sa akin,” he told former Pangasinan Third Disrict Congressman Eric Acuña , the proprietor of AMO.

A top agriculture official attested last year how AMO significantly increased the harvest of rice farmers in Sual, Pangasinan while they reduced their expenses.

“Tumaas po ang ani nila and saka iyong cost bumaba siya,” declared to GMA-7 regional television by Dr. Jovita Datuin, the chief Science Research Specialist of the Department of Agriculture Region-1, after a farm trial in the coastal western Pangasinan town.

Dr. Datuin said that despite the farmers not using insecticide, the department found out that the root development and yield of the palay hike.

“Tumaas po iyong yield nila at maganda pa rin iyong leaf color at mga parameters na tinitingnan ng mga researchers na tumutok okay po siya,” she stressed.
In 2018, the regional office of the D.A had its on-farm trial in Sual using AMO with laudable result.

Acuña told this newspaper about the efficacy of his product when he and the then mayor Roberto Arcinue of Sual, Pangasinan piloted it here in a countless of hectares.
