MANGALDAN – The mayor here said the provincial board did not reject the resolution on the P40 million loan application by this town’s legislative council but was asked to re-pass it because its date had lapsed already.

“Kailangan kasi iyang resolution noon kasi 2014, 2015 na sabi nila we need another one,” Mayor Bona Fe D. Parayno stressed.
She said even the board encouraged this town to borrow monies because it would fund the Phase II of the market place that would become an income generation project.
When asked that the remanding by the board of the Resolution at the council was the fault of the council members who neglected to send it on time at the board, the mayor declined to comment.
Parayno said the 2015 Resolution was submitted to the Sanguniang Panlalawigan (board) and expect its approval soon.
She hopes that within this year this town could borrow the P40 million at the Land Bank of the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Parayno laughed on her detractors who said she spent one million pesos for her recent State of the Municipal Address (SOMA) held at the public auditorium here.
“Hindi po totoo iyan na may one million. Pero pag nakikita niyo iyong lahat ng tarpaulin na iyan nakalagay is Smart, sila ang nag sponsored and it was free na binigay. Tapos may mga ilang suppliers na nagbigay. Invitaton is disseminated and its worth I think P16, 000 lang iyong invitation and malaking discount sa suppliers”
She refuted malicious insinuation by her critics that she even billed at the public coffer her dress.
“Ang damit ko sa akin. Hindi ha ha ha maski isang cent was spent on my cloth”.
