AUTOMATIC SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN PANGASINAN

Since PAGASA has placed Pangasinan under STORM SIGNAL #1, as of 11 pm of July 5, classes at the PRE-SCHOOL LEVEL, shall be automatically CANCELLED OR SUSPENDED.
This is based on the automatic cancellation or suspension of classes on affected areas as provided in Section 1 of the Executive Order No. 66, s. 2012 signed on January 9, 2012 by Pres. Benigno Simeon Aquino, III.
However, the same EO also states in Section 2 that Localized Cancellation or Suspension of Classes and Work in Government Offices can be made In the absence of typhoon signal warnings from PAGASA to be implemented by local chief executives, as chairmen of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC) concerned, in coordination with PAGASA and the NDRRMC, specifically in flood-prone or high risk areas.
According to Pangasinan PDRRMC, all roads are still passable in Pangasinan.
Please be guided accordingly.
