FLORENDO- The Police
Regional Office 1 (PRO1) under the leadership of Chief Superintendent Roman A.
Felix, Regional Director still accommodates gun holders of Region 1 who will
avail the Neuro-Psychiatric Examination, Drug Test and Tent Prints as requirements
in securing the License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF).

Police
Senior Superintendent Angelito D. Dumangeng, Chief of the Regional Operations
and Plans Division (ROPD), said the neuro-psychiatric exam is conducted twice a
day every Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Regional Health Service 1 (RHS1).
He
said, the neuro exam will start at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM every Tuesday and
Thursday with a payment of P900.00 per examinee.
The
Regional Crime Laboratory Office (RCLO) is also open 24 hours on Tuesdays and
Thursdays for Drug Test and Tent Prints with corresponding payments of P300.00
and P200.00 respectively.

ID pictures are also needed for the application form (3pcs), neuro exam (1pc),
drug test (1pc) and tent prints (1pc).
Meanwhile,
PSSupt. Dumangeng likewise stressed that applicants will submit all the
requirements to the Firearms and Explosives, Security Agencies and Guards
Supervision Section (FESAGSS) of PRO1 and said office will forward the
application to the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) in Camp Crame for the
processing of LTOPF.
Requirements to be submitted are as
follows:
1. Filled-up Application Forms (3 copies);
2. Neuro-Psychiatric Clearance;
3. Drug Test;
4. Gun Safety and Responsible Gun
Ownership Seminar Certificate;
5. RID Clearance (requirements for this
clearance are local police clearance and NBI Clearance);
6. NSO Birth Certificate/Passport;
7. Proof of Latest Billing, and
8. Valid ID
