Injunction suit mulls vs. Pangasinan's land tax

After the provincial government declared it would not amend the inflated valuation of Real Porperty Tax, Eng. Rosendo So, Chairman of Abono Party-list, (4th from left) declared at the Press Conference held in April 19, 2011 at Jollibee in Brgy. Lucao to consult with stakeholders and their lawyers of a civil case they would file against the province of Pangasinan.
"If they would not amend, we do not have a choice but to file the case. Our class suit  against the officials of San Roque Dam made them prudent  every time they release dam water to the lowlands, " Eng. So declared in the conference hosted by media organization Patrima.
At the photo is Provincial Assessor Nestor Quimbao (extreme left) who absorbed all the criticisms and denunciations by some of the guests, media men, and panelist led by Atty. Gonzalo Duque. Those raps should have been leveled against the members of the Sanggunian Panlalawigan who were responsible to craft the "onerous" ordinance but opted not to attend every-time they were invited by media organizations to shed light on this incendiary issues that infuriated different sectors in Pangasinan
