GALING SA SM ANG PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Nai-
turn- over kamakailan ng tanggapan ni 4th District Congressman Christopher de
Venecia sa management ng Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC) ang mga Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) at iba pang gamit ng mga frontliners bilang
proteksyon laban sa Corona Virus Disease – 19 (COVID-19).
Tinanggap ni Dr.
Roland Joseph Mejia, ang hospital director ng R1MC, ang tulong ni Congressman
de Venecia, na 80 PPEs at 400 goggles.

SM Foundation recently began distributing over P170 million worth of PPEs and medical supplies to over 50 hospitals nationwide to be of service in the fight against COVID -19. These include ICU-grade ventilators; test kits including the local Manila Healthtek kits developed by the UP-NIH team, and FDA-approved PCR kits from Korea; and personal protective equipment for healthcare workers. The Philippine General Hospital, the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM), the Lung Center of the Philippines were among the recipients. Nauna pa rito ay nagbigay na si De Venecia
ng 50 boxes ng face masks sa R1MC. Kasama din na tinurn over kahapon ng opisina
ni Congressman De Venecia sa R1MC ang nakalap nyang tulong mula sa SM
Foundation, na mga PPEs, na nagkakahalaga ng kalahating milyong piso.
Ito
ay binubuo ng KN95 masks, alcohol, personal protective clothing,protective
goggles at nitrile gloves. Nagpasalamat din si De Venecia sa tulong ng
Lakas-CMD na kanyang partidong kinabibilangan para maibigay ang mga naturang
donasyon na PPE deretso sa R1MC.
