Bayambang First Lady amazed, cried during beauty pageantry

BAYAMBANG – “They’re so beautiful!” exclaimed by this burgeoning town’s First Lady when asked to comment on the conclusion of the pre-pageant night for the 20 stunners for the Binibining Bayambang 2018 held at the admission free and jampacked Balon Bayambang Events Center.
Actress Niña -Jose Quiambao said she cried during the show when they sashayed their swim and casual wears and strutted their respective talents.

During the spectacle, the ABS-CBN mainstay was actively applauding and cheering each of the performing lookers while seated at the first row of the VIP Section with her husband Business Czar and Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao.

“Beautiful. I actually cried. I am very proud of them. And they being so beautiful very overwhelming and I’m very happy!” Quiambao, whose complete name is Mary Clare Judith Phyllis “Niña” Jose-Quiambao, told Northern Watch just after the pageant that started at 9 pm and ended almost midnight of March 24.
The pre-pageant was attended by chanting and enraptured town folks who came from the 77 villages.
It was hosted by TV personality and Actress Dianne Medina and Senior Tourism Operation Officer Rafael Saygo.
The Grand Coronation Night will be held at 7 pm of April 6 at the Pangasinan State University (PSU) Ground here with American-born Filipino actor, model and singer Xian Lim and volleyball star and television personality Gretchen Ho as hosts with guest performer Rhythm & Blues crooner Michael Pangilinan.

Actress Kim Chiu, the first lady’s former collegue at the Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, will be one of the judges at the final contest.
Other special guests will be former Miss Universe-Philippines 2011 Shamcey Supsup and former Miss Universe-Philippines 2010 Venus Raj.

Each of the 20 contestants had hurdled the qualifications as resident or has root in the thriving first class town, 16 to 24 years old, and at least 5'3'' in height, as required by the Binibining Bayambang 2018 Executive Committee chaired by the First Lady.

Before the Pre-Pageant Night, the 20 bombshells matched last February 10 for the Top 3 “Darling of the Press” participated by selected media practitioners in Pangasinan that was held at the Saint Vincent Village Pavilion owned by the Quiambaos here.
The stunners are mostly students who studied as far as the University of Makati in Makati City and Saint Louis University in Baguio City.  The monetary prize for the winner of the spectacle will be P100, 000 and additional P100,000 for her chosen charity organization while P10, 000 each as consolation prizes for most of the 19 other contestants.
