Bataoil, Driver Meet Vehicular Accident in Tarlac

A Pangasinan solon and his driver met a vehicular accident Friday pre dawn in Tarlac province as they traversed the Tarlac’s highway.

 Reports said that Second District Congressman Leopoldo N. Bataoil and his driver Armando Manlongat were on their way to Pangasinan 4:50 Am of October 4 when they were bumped along the Paniqui-Camiling Tarlac Highway by a motorcycle driven by Renato Macato. 

The highway was pitched dark and under road construction when Manlongat, who was driving a Starex Van, was surprised when the motorcycle rider on the other lane, shifted to their lane to avoid the newly cemented road with rocks all over it.

 Incident was already investigated by PNP Paniqui.

Congressman Bataoil and his driver immediately brought the motorcycle rider to Teodoro Memorial Hospital and later transferred him to Sto. Nino Hospital in Camiling for Computed tomography (CT) scan.
 Macato was already out of danger but advised to stay in the hospital for observation as his hospital expenses were taken cared of by the solon.

Meanwhile, Manlongat experinced chest pain while the solon suffered a neck pain caused by jarring inside the vehicle. Bataoil assures everyone that they are safe and nothing no worry about.


Moreover, Bataoil, a last term lawmaker, will be pitted with Lingayen, Pangasinan Mayor Josefina "Iday" Castaneda in the May 13, 2019 election.
The filing of the certificate of candidacy (CoC) for all national and local candidates will be on October 11-12 and 15-17, 2018.
