4,400 aspirants to take CSC eligibility test on October 23



DAGUPAN CITY - A total of 4, 473 aspirant civil servants in Pangasinan will flock to the testing centers in this city to take the Career Service Examination- Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) set on October 23.Image result for civil service eligibility

Romel Rivera, senior human resource specialist of the Civil Service Commission (CSC)-Lingayen Field Office, said some 3,430 examinees registered for the professional level while 1, 043 aspirants will take the sub-professional level.

Testing centers for the professional level will be at the Dagupan City National High School and West Central Elementary School while for the sub-professional level, it will be at the Lyceum-Northwestern University.

The examination is a general ability test that covers vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, analogy, logic and numerical reasoning for professional level while for sub-professional level, the exam covers the same subject areas except analogy and logic, and also includes questions on spelling and clerical operations.

However, Rivera advised the examinees to also review on current events, Philippine Constitution, the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (Republic Act 6713) and environment management and protection stated in Republic Act 9003.

“On the examination day, all examinees are advised to be at their assigned testing center not later than 6:40 a.m., he said during the ‘Pantongtongan Tayo’ radio program of Philippine Information Agency on Tuesday.

He also stressed that test proper will start at 7 a.m and gates of examination venues shall be closed at 7:30 a.m.

Further, he said examinees must bring with them at least one valid ID or the same identification they used when they applied for the examination, at least three black ball pens which will be used for the new examination form, lead pencils, and erasers.

Rivera also informed examiners to check their school assignment that will be posted in the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph two weeks before the examination day.
