PRC to hold mobile outreach services for new teachers



DAGUPAN CITY – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)-Baguio Regional Office will conduct mobile outreach services in Pangasinan to process initial registration of teachers who passed the recent licensure exams.

Teofilo Gaius Sison Jr., regional director of PRC-Baguio, said the mobile outreach services is intended to decongest the regional office and enable passers to save on travel time and expenses.

Mobile outreach services will be held from 9am to 4pm on June 12 at Nepo Mall atrium in Dagupan City and June 16 at the Robert B. Estrella, Sr. Memorial Stadium in Rosales town.

“The Office will process initial registration on a first-come, first-served basis; no alphabetical queuing,” said Sison.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly-accomplished Oath Form (downloadable at www.prc.gov.ph Online Registration System for Board Passers); 2015 community tax certificate or cedula; two documentary stamps; one short brown envelope; and payment of initial registration fee of P1, 050.<!--more-->




“For verification of grades/ratings, visit PRC website: www.prc.gov.ph, using registrant’s application number,” he said.

Meanwhile, PRC announced that a Pangasinense was included in the Top 10 of the March 2015 Licensure Examination for Teachers.

He is Mar Joseph Fernandez, a graduate of University of Pangasinan, who ranked 9th after obtaining a rating of 88.80 percent. Fernandez currently works as a mathematics teacher at St. John’s Cathedral School in Dagupan City. (AMM/PIA-1, Pangasinan)
