Camacho lauds Investors in Bayambang

By Mortz C. Ortigoza

BAYAMBANG – The mayor of this burgeoning onion producing first class town lauded investors who come and put shops here.
One of the investors Mayor Ricardo Camacho hailed was Dagupan City Councilor Brian Lim who led the cutting of ribbon of the Magic Appliance Centre that opened at second floor of the swanky Royal Mall.
“The son of our beloved mayor of Dagupan City Benjie S. Lim – Brian Lim has led the opening ceremony of the Appliance Center. Magic is one of the business establishments that invest in our town,” he stressed.
Camacho said that according to the law of the Department of Labour & Employment it mandates that every business establishment that put shop here is to hire more or less 70% of the people who live here.
“In terms of employment oppurtunities marami na naman tayong natulungan. So it is not only in Bayambang, but outside our town kung saan ay nakapagbigay tayo ng mga applicant sa iba’t ibang lugar.

Meanwhile, while the office of the Bureau of Internal Revenue that supervises Central Pangasinan deplored the P137 million lost annual revenue it used to collect from data- provider Stradcom that is based here but was reverted to the Central Office of the BIR this year, this town is bullish that it would collect this year a whopping more than P11 million mayor and business taxes from Stradcom and the Land Registration Administration - whose main computer server is based here also.

Business mogul Quimbao, a native here, owns also the Royal Mall.
