Spates of killings in Pangasinan: Not abetted by hired killers – Col. Ricaforte
Policemen all over Pangasinan are ubiquitous nowadays roaming public places by foot or in their patrol cars or manning check points as ordered recently by Ricaforte. He said he is at his office 24 hours seven days a week cracking his head how to solve the ‘aberration” that haunted the province. “Ako mismo tumatawag for compliance sa kanila kahit medaling araw. Tine-text and telepono ko ang officers in charged ng check points, officer on the ground. Tatawagan ko iyan, tapos iyong supervisors to see to it they are not remised doing their job”. Although he could not explain the spates of killings as he is not a crime psychologist, he vigorously adheres to the police mantra: “If you want to prevent crimes we have to solve it” (Mortz C. Ortigoza).
