BASISTA, Pangasinan – The mayor of this landlocked town has graced
various Halloween parties that were celebrated in some villages here.
Mayor Jolly R. Resuello joined the commemorations in Barangays Palma and
Cabeldata.
In Palma he lauded the Insan Boys
Halloween Party led by Mr. Randy Bustarde.
“Ang inyong lingkod ay lubos na nagpapasalamat
sa mga bumubuo ng Insan Boys Halloween Party na pinamumunuan ni Mr. Randy
Bustarde kasama ang mga opisyales at miyembro ng kanilang samahan,” the
young second term mayor said in the vernacular.
Mayor Resuello was accompanied by Palma Barangay Chairman Reynaldo Seguin, councilmember Jun Casingal, newly elected councilmembers Junal Cabuang, Joseph de Guzman, newly elected Sangguniang Kabataan Chair Aira Nicole Hermogeno and her councilmembers.
In Brgy. Cabeldatan, Resuello hailed the officials and members of the Rosal
East Halloween Party headed by Mr. Christian Balocating.
“Ang inyong lingkod ay lubos
na nagpapasalamat sa mga bumubuo ng Rosal East Halloween Party na pinamumunuan
ni Mr. Christian Balacoting kasama ang mga opisyales at miyembro ng kanilang
samahan,” he disclosed on his account
at Facebook.
The mayor was accompanied by Cabeldatan newly elected Punong Barangay Rogelio “Rudy” de Guzman, councilmembers Buddy de Vera, Sonny Cayabyab, newly elected councilmember Jaime Alvarez and newly elected SK Chair Cedrick Alvarez and outgoing SK chairperson Erick Austria.
Meanwhile, during the holidays’ All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day,
the mayor visited the public, Roman Catholic and independent cemeteries here to
know directly how his constituents and visitors fare in seeing the resting
places of their departed loved ones.
To assure their safety, he instructed the personnel of the Municipal Heath
Office, Bureau of Fire and Protection, Philippines National Police, Solid Waste
Management Office, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and
barangay tanod (watchmen) to guide and protect the people here and those who enter this town from other places
in the country.
