MANGALDAN, Pangasinan – The office of this thriving town Mayor Bona Fe D. Parayno is preoccupied nowadays on its preparation for the forthcoming visit of Vice President and Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte as guest speaker of the graduation of the senior public high school students here on July 12.

Mayor Parayno, who serves as
Mangaldan National High School (MNHS) Parents-Teachers Association (PTA)
President, was the architect of this historic visit of the second highest
official of the land because she personally penned and delivered the letter of
invitation.
The gathering brought together all
the Principals of the 30 villages’ town, Public Schools District Supervisor
(PSDS) for Mangaldan II Minerva D. Serafica and MNHS department heads led by
Principal Eduardo B. Castillo to collaborate their preparation for the coming of Duterte.
The meeting was spearheaded by
Mayor Bona, MNHS Principal Castillo and Mangaldan Police Chief Lt. Col.
Benjamin E. Zarate, Jr. where they emphasized the need for diligent planning
and coordination.
With the yeoman’s job in mind for
the safety and security of the guests and attendees, Lt. Col. Zarate assured
participants that stringent security measures will be implemented to ensure a
smooth and secure commencement exercise.

Christopher Gorospe and Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) Chief Gerardo
Ydia were also present to address potential traffic concerns and maintenance of
the public order during the event.
MNHS Principal Castillo
emphasized the significance of being fully prepared, reminded everyone that
the Vice President’s arrival time may be earlier than anticipated.
Mayor Bona, echoing the sentiment,
reassured Castillo of the local government’s unqualified and zealous support
for the preparation. Moreover, she urged all school heads to actively join the
consequential visit for the entire education sector in Mangaldan.
Parayno also exhorted the school
heads to seize the visit of Duterte where they submit their resolutions
directly to her so they can drum –up support for the needs of the schools here.
