CALASIAO'S FRIENDLY MAYORAL RIVALS

Calasiao, Pangasinan Mayor Joseph Bauzon and his mayoral rival former mayor Mark Macanlalay have been seen recently at a party in a friendly and jovial mood.
When told by this writer that Calasiao town is lucky to have friendly rivals, Bauzon retorted that ex-mayor Mark is “my cousin” as he and his bevy of bodyguards went to the round table were Macanlalay, wife, and other guests were seated. “Kuya, mauna na ako (big brother I have to go now),” he told the former nine years mayor of the burgeoning and one of the richest towns in Pangasinan.
At the photo is (from left to right) birthday celebrant Doña Norma de Vera Montoya Vda. Rosario, Mayor Bauzon, Liza Rosario-Magaway, and ex-mayor Macanlalay at the house of the celebrant in Barangay Macabito, Calasiao.
Magaway’s husband is Police General Mariel Magaway who is classmate at the Philippine Military Academy of former National Police Chief and Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa. Dela Rosa and some of his PMA classmates should be attending the birthday bash as they would be trekking Baguio City for the PMA alumni celebration but cancelled it at the last hour after Dela Rosa was obliged to attend his proclamation last Wednesday as senatorial candidate for the May 13, 2019 election by the PDP-Laban's hierarchy in Manila.
Other photos are the guests like relatives, friends, and politicians who attended the 83rd birthday of the celebrant (By Mortz C.
