Two top executives of the Revenue Districts Offices in
Pangasinan province became recipients of awards from the regional office of the
Bureau of Internal Revenue in Region – 1 in a month celebration of the tax
agency’s 114th Anniversary.
RDO 4 and 6 Chiefs Merlyn Vicente and Lawyer Maribel B. Utit,
respectively, whose offices are based in Central and Eastern Pangasinan have
been beneficiaries of various awards.

“Thank you Lord Jesus
for all the talents, unending inspiration and guidance, leading us to garner
the first rank in the Sanitation and Beautification Program of RR1. We praise
you endlessly for everything for you always amaze us with great surprises.
Thank you too for the concerted efforts of RDO-4 revenuers and our care best
counterparts. Indeed, the result is awesome. Congratulation to all of us! Keep
up the good work,” an elated RDO Chief Vicente stressed.
RDO-6 Chief Utit expressed her gratitude to Regional
Director Clavelina S. Nacar and Assistant Regional Director Fely C.
Simon for initiating the activity.
“Thanks to the RR1 family, high schools which participated in the poster-making contests and the
JPIAns from different colleges offering accountancy courses who participated in
the tax quiz bee. Congratulation to everyone!” she added.
Utit hailed her personnel especially Assistant RDO-6 Lolit Salayog for her utmost dedication to her job.
“Assistant RDO Lolit who is very hands on on this endeavor. I witnessed how, before employees arrived in the morning, you’d be roaming the floors of the building ensuring every nook and cranny is ready to serve the first client to arrive. And long after the last staff left, I saw you checking again to ensure that everything else was kept for the day. Thank you very much to my RDO-6 staff and personnel. Congratulaton!” she cited.
RDO-6 collects the
taxes of individuals and businesses in one city and eighteen towns in Eastern
Pangasinan while RDO-4 covers the revenues of the people and enterprises of two cities and fourteen towns in central part of the huge province.
