Look at
the hypocrisy of this harsh critic of a mayor. A source told me that this guy
keeps criticizing on social and traditional media the projects of the local
executive that paled those corrupt ridden accomplishments of the mayor's predecessor.
“Banat ng banat iyan kasi nag apply
pala as department head sa munisipyo hinde tinangap,” the source, who asked anonymity,
told me that the critic sour grapes.
I also
learned that he was sacked by his superior from his supervisory work
specializing on a certain trade allegedly of corruption.
Similar
work places now would not accept him because of his alleged offense.
That’s
the problem with us Filipinos, we have the propensity to criticize and
undermine somebody by accusing him or her with baseless corruption issues without
looking that what we have doing are sheer hypocrisy.
Look at Edgardo
Taron, a computer technologist at Bureau of Internal Revenue, who was entrapped
recently by the agents of the National Bureau of Investigation when he gouged a
taxpayer in Lingayen.
I was
amused to read the exchanges at Facebook of residents of Lingayen how Taron messed
at his own town and humiliated the peaceful people there.
“Ha ha this was the same person who
was my basher at Facebook during the elections when I ran for mayor. He talked
like he was soooo clean and honest and even insinuated that I don't meet his
standard. Ha ha ha totoo pala ang sinabi niya pero buti nga sa iyo! Vietnam!” Retired General Sonny Verzosa, a
former police provincial director and mayoralty candidate in 2016, dissed ha ha
ha to the sorry extortionist as his stunt and his forcible arrest were seen on
national television.
My source
at the Revenue District Office -4 of the BIR that supervises Central Pangasinan
told me that Taron is not an employee there.
So the
son of a gun will no longer be sued under the criminal offenses of Direct bribery
and Violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act the NBI
official said on TV he would file against the malefactor.
So if he
would not be liable on these two criminal crimes, Taron would be sued instead
of Estafa or Swindling and Usurpation of authority or official
functions.
Just like
Illegal Position of Ugly Face that would greatly prejudice many in the media industry, sorry to say General
Sonny, Congress has not yet hammered a new law against “Hypocrisy”
The
culprit was a poor actor; Lingayen is not covered by RDO-4 as it is under the
tax collection supervision of RDO-5 based in Alaminos City.
Taron, to
those who did not yet know the issue, was sweet talking the gullible taxpayer
that he already fleeced by a staggering P150,000 out of the P300,000 he was asking in exchanged of getting rid
his name out on the computer data of the tax agency as tax cheat.
RDO-5 is
under the auspices of RDO Chief Thelma D. Mangio.
Yes Virginia, the same RDO Chief whose red Innova government service car was peppered with bullets from a suspected angry taxpayer middle of this year.
