Gay stunner’s family values earns him Festival Queen title

Kevin Balot
DAGUPAN CITY – His family-centeredness has won him the crown.
Kevin Balot also known as “Anne Curtis”, a second- year nursing student from Tarlac, was capped the Miss Gay Festival Queen2012 pageant night at the City Plaza last April 22.
Balot stunned the crowd and the judges with his unparalleled confidence in representing the members of the “third sex” as gleaned from her witty-but-elegant handling of the question and answer portion of the pageant.
“When I see one of the members of my family crying, that makes me sad… my family are the first person (sic) who accepted me for who I am and that I sacrifice my own sadness to make them happy and I use that sadness as my inspiration as a homosexual,” Balot replied to the query “What makes you sad?”
Also romping victorious for the night were: Lesly Vidal (Jennylyn Mercado), first runner up; Andres So Jr. (Angelica Panganiban), second runner up and best in national costume; Atilano Belo Jr. (Angel Locsin), third runner up and miss body beautiful; and Khim Arenas Quinlao (Arci Muñoz), fourth runner up and best in swimsuit.
Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangus Dagupan member Sanjay Mohan, First Binibining Bilbilin dagupan Julie Ann Jose, Miss Dagupan 2011 Denielle Joie Magno, entrepreneur Dr. Mactrina Mahal comprised the panel of judges.
The pageant is one of the highlights of the Bangus Festival celebration. CIO with report from Jumar B. Dagdag ABE-III PSU-Bayambang

  1. I have an opportunity to witness how Lent was practiced at San Fernando, Pampanga and the Holy shrine in Manaoag, Pangasinan.
In Pampanga I saw a drunk effeminate (gay or bakla in Filipino) praying loudly to a crucified “Jesus Christ” by asking the latter that somebody give him a branded T-back underwear.
Christ, who was portrayed by a kapampangan (who looked like a drug addict), was excruciatingly in pain because of the huge nail that pinned his two feet in a cross mustered to speak to the gay.
Jesus Christ: Napakapalad mo anak (You’re very lucky my son).
Gay: (Bakit po?) Why my Lord?
Anong T-Back T-Back iyong hinihingi mo? (If both my feet are not nailed here I have kicked your ass earlier, faggot! What T-Back are you asking? Have you not seen my situation I could not even afford to buy a g-string to cover my private part!).
In Manaoag, Pangasinan I overheard a group of gay responded to the liturgy of a priest there.
Priest: Dugo ni Kristo (Blood of Christ)…
    Gays: Type O!
    Priest: Katawan ni Kristo…
    Gays: Macho!
    Gays: Tatakbo kami, tatakbo kami!
    Gays: Babalik kami, babalik kami!
After the mass I overheard another well-built priest ordering his flocks outside the church to form a queue.

    Gays: Kami father, saan susunod?

Priest: Mga bruha, follow me. Sa gitna tayo para bongga!
