The Pangasinan Provincial Government congratulated the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) for its 107th Founding Anniversary on July 27 of this year.
Expressed officially through Provincial Resolution No. 604-2021 which was approved on the regular session of the Pangasinan Provincial Board on July 5, the provincial government found it fitting to honor and celebrate the INC foundation day as the religious sect play pivotal role in building noble gestures to the province.
“The Iglesia Ni Cristo is one shining example of a good church that promotes unity and amity between and among the people of Pangasinan and initiates programs that upholds moral values in various fields of endeavors,” the resolution stated.
Authored by Sangguniang Member Jeremy Agerico B. Rosario, the resolution added that “in the upcoming anniversary celebration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo on July 27, 2021, the entire officialdom of the Province of Pangasinan wishes the Iglesia Ni Cristo to gain more spiritual strength and recognition.”
The INC which was established by the late Executive Minister Felix Y. Manalo at Barrio Tipas in Taguig, Rizal, was first registered with the Philippine government in July 1914 and from that time on, it has become a solid religious foundation not in the Philippines but also in some part of the world as more congregations in different countries of various ethnic groups and nationalities are formed.
“The Iglesia Ni Cristo does not only spread God’s Words all over the world but it is known for its record-breaking activities and continuation of its various community outreach programs and upholding good health and clean living amid the pandemic,” the resolution disclosed.
Said resolution was co-authored by all members of the provincial board.
