PMAers Reminisce Cadetship After Kin Graduated At PNPA

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – A grateful retired police brigadier general told the mayor here how proud his former mayor father when the chief executive graduated at the Philippine Military Academy.
“Thank you sir! it’s such a coincidence that my dad was the mayor when you graduated from PMA Class ‘76 and now my daughter Shen graduated from the PNPA with you as the mayor. My dad too was so proud of you as one of the few graduates of PMA from Lingayen to whom he has high regards. Kaya pinilit niya ako mag PMA din maski ang gusto ko talaga ay magpari,” former Pangasinan Police Director Mariano Luis “Sonny” Verzosa, Jr. told this capital town’s mayor Leopoldo Bataoil.
Both are members of PMA Classes of 1976 and 1984, respectively.

“What a coincidence indeed! I know, Shen will be a good professional officer with God, country and people foremost in her mind. Like me, I focused my life while in the active military/police service not knowing that someday I’ll be your mayor like your dad. God will surely lead, guide and protect Shen,” The mayor retorted to a fellow Cavalier.
Before being elected as mayor at the May 13, 2019 Election, Bataoil was a nine years’ congressman in the eight towns’ Pangasinan Second District.

Farmers Want Head Of Aggie Chief Dar

I don’t know if Agriculture Secretary William Dar suffers sexual challenges or bouts with amnesia.
Lately I saw him at the receiving end of the vitriol by angry citizens at Facebook when he posed for a photo op rubbing elbows with a youthful mestizo knockout.
A delighted Dar was garbed in a stripped collar's shirt while the Filipino-Australian guy sartorial elegantly clad on a black coat and a black shirt.
He was dashing actor Robert James Marquinez Reid, 27, and commissioned by Dar as incoming youth ambassador for agriculture and agri- business to promote the beleaguered department that only brought anxieties and pains to the lowly farmers.
Rolly Manio commented: “Baka bading si Secretary kaya ginagawa niyang ambassador para lagi niyang makasama”.

A certain Caesar Fugata Moquete had scathing remarks for the 67 years old horticulturist.

“Ano yan Sec. traveling boar? Anak ng itik, marunong ba magbungkal ng lupa at matanim ng kamote? How drivers, families survive the two months quarantine

DAGUPAN CITY – Because of the two months quarantine by the government, motorized tricycle drivers and their families here have to stretch out their measly budget or stay with kin to physically survive.
 Hernan Cabunot, 26, said that the five thousand pesos he borrowed from a usurer he budgeted meticulously to buy foods for himself, his wife, and two small children from the duration of March 16 to May 15's  lock down this year. 
The two months quarantine ensued after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered it through the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF)  to avoid the contagion of the deadly pandemic Corona Virus Disease-19 (ConViD-19) to the people in Luzon. 
Major islands Visayas and Mindanao eventually were put under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) by the IATF.

 This 171,271 populated (2015 Census) coastal city was cleared by the IATF from her classification as ECQ's area but the local government unit here still classified her as General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

 ECQ, according to IATF, refers to the implementation of temporary measures imposing stringent limitation on movement and transportation of people, strict regulation of operating industries, provision of food and essential services and heightened pressure of uniformed personnel to enforce community quarantine protocols.

BINALONAN, Pangasinan – Through the intercession of a young visionary newly elected congressman, this town and a huge portion of Pangasinan province will be benefiting by 10, 000 to 12,000 direct new jobs from a Japanese-Filipino consortium’s wiring system corporation.

“I am proud to announce that the first industrial park of Pangasinan is soon to rise in the Municipality of Binalonan. In connection, the Sumi North-Philippines Wiring Systems Corporation is currently hiring ten thousands to twelve thousands job vacancies. Huwag natin ito palampasin mga ka distrito,” Fifth District Rep. Ramon Guico, III stressed.

He said this became possible after his family sold 22 hectares of lands to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority’s sanctioned Sumitomo North Philippines  Wiring Systems Corporation (SNPWSC).
