Dads Confirmed Patague, Torre

 

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The lawmaking body of the provincial government of Pangasinan confirmed recently the appointments of the provincial administrator and legal officer during its first session.


Vice Gov. Mark Ronald Lambino and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan confirmed the re-appointment by Gov. Ramon Guico III of Provincial Administrator Melicio Patague II and Legal Officer and lawyer Baby Ruth Torre.

CALASIAO, Pangasinan – Sa mabilisang pangangasiwa ng local na pamahalaan dito, gumagamit ang bagong Caramat Administration ng digitalization para lalong matugunan kung ano ang mga pangangailangan sa mga nasasakupan niya.

Caramat and NSPIRE Software & Technology Chief Executive Officer Harold Macapagal (who both hold a piece of paper) lead their staff at the background to gesture the vaunted C sign for Caramat after the two heads of an organization signed in July 15 this year at the Maya’s Haven in the landlocked town the memorandum of agreement (MOA) for the local government unit (LGU) of Calasiao to be a beneficiary of the gratis P50 million technology from NSPIRE to expedite the administration and services of the LGU to its personnel and constituents. 


“It would help us cut our expenses to deliver the service of the municipality for efficiency. ‘Di po tayo magbababawas ng tauhan di po natin binabawasan ang trabaho ng mga tao. Pinapaganda o pinapagaan po natin mas makapagtrabaho pa po tayo sa taong bayan,” ani Mayor Patrick A. Caramat sa mga mamahayag sa sidelines ng memorandum of agreement (MOA) niya sa NSPIRE Technology & Software.

Mayor Bona Leads Executive-Legislative Dialogue

MANGALDAN, Pangasinan – The second term mayor of this one of the richest towns in Pangasinan led recently an executive-legislative meeting to smoothen the deliberation and passing of the Sangguniang Bayan of ordinances that included those to be proposed by her office.

Officials of the executive and legislative bodies of the local government of Mangaldan, Pangasinan pose in the photo here during their four-day seminar-workshop to update themselves on the Comprehensive Development Plan of the first class town. The meeting ensued from July 9 to 12, 2025 at Royce Hotel in Clark, Pampanga. The collaboration between the Office of the Mayor and the Sangguniang Bayan was historic because this was the first meeting between reelected mayor Bona Fe D. Parayno and the lawmakers led by Vice Mayor lawyer Fernando Juan A. Cabrera. The Vice Mayor and Mayor Parayno belonged to different parties during the May 12, 2025 elections.


The meeting held at the Conference Room of the Presidencia de Mangaldan ensued upon the initiative of Mayor Bona Fe D. Parayno to have an open communication between the two bodies and thus expedite legislation.

 When I saw tickets like these (at the photo with this blog) being issued by a city tax collector to vendors at the main marketplace in Dagupan City, I asked him: "Arkabala ba tawag niyan?"


He retorted in the negative. "Ticket ho ang tawag namin dito".

PDEA Conducts On-Site Validation on Manaoag’s Narco Cleared Status

 MANAOAG, Pangasinan - An on-site validation and verification activity is being conducted at the Health and Wellness Center here to assess the sustainability of the drug-cleared status of the Municipality of Manaoag and its 26 barangays.
