Two-Fisted Sheriff In Behalf of the Druze

Muslim countries like Syria, Iran, and Lebanon (mixed Christian and Muslim) know the two fisted "take no prisoner" Sheriff in town means business for the tranquility of the region.

Israel bombed with impunity to smithereens military installations in Iran in 12 days and military headquarters and camps in Damascus, Syria the other day after the Syrian government leads by Ahmed al-Sharaa -- a former ISIS, that Islamist radical group that decapitate in public Americans -- attacked the Druze minority who lived near the border of Israel.

I wrote in my blog on December 2024 that after Syria Dictator Bashar al -Assad and family scamperred to Russia to save their necks from al-Sharaa and his rebels, the new government took over those naval ships and what remains of the Syrian airforce that fought viciously against Israel in 1967, 1973, and other wars like those in Lebanon. But those ships and Soviet made Mig 25 interceptors, 29 Mig 29 multi-roles, 39 Sukhoi Su-22 fighter-bombers, and 18 Sukhoi SU 24 fighter-bombers have been destroyed by the Israeli's airforce Ike those F-15s and F-16s lest the former ISIS despot used 'em against the Jews in the future.

Now Syria - just like the Philippine Air Force during the Administrations of Fidel Ramos and Gloria Arroyo - is 100 percent air and zero percent force, susmariosep!

Dozens of people were killed this week after clashes between government loyalists and Druze militias in the southern city of Suwayda, prompting Syrian forces to intervene. That, in turn, triggered renewed Israeli airstrikes, as Israel – citing a commitment to protect the Druze – expands its footprint in southern Syria.

The United States views the situation as “worrisome,” according to the US special envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, and has reportedly urged Israel to halt its strikes. But on Wednesday, Israel warned it would intensify attacks if Syrian government forces do not withdraw.
