467 Jobseekers Joined SM City Urdaneta Central's Job Fair 2025

SM City Urdaneta Central welcomed hundreds of hopefuls at its Job Fair held on July 30, drawing a total of 467 applicants and recording six hired on the spot.

SM Supermalls, through SM City Urdaneta Central, joined hands with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Pangasinan, local government units, and private companies in holding the job fair. Present during the event were SM Assistant Mall Manager Ms. Christine A. Rosario, PESO Chief Ms. Richelle Raguindin, and representatives from partner LGUs and local organizations.

 

In her welcome remarks, Ms. Rosario highlighted the continued collaboration between SM, government agencies, and private partners to open employment doors across the region. She also shared that in 2024, SM Supermalls hosted 183 job fairs nationwide, helping over 107,000 Filipinos land job opportunities, with more than 14,000 hired on the spot.

“This 2025, we remain committed to building on that momentum,” she said, emphasizing that SM’s goal is not only to provide venues for job matching, but also to empower every Filipino seeking meaningful and sustainable employment. “We know that finding the right fit can be both exciting and challenging. That’s why this job fair exists to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, to connect passionate individuals with reputable employers, and to give every jobseeker a clear path forward.”
