Dagupan Mayor bids farewell to departed Veem



DAGUPAN CITY — Mayor Belen T. Fernandez led city hall officials and employees in bringing former city vice mayor Teodoro “Teddy” Manaois III in his final resting place  at Mt. Zion Memorial Park in Bonuan Boquig on July 4.  Manaois died of lingering illness last June 23.

Fernandez acknowledged the great contributions of Manaois to her political career especially when she was just starting as a city councilor.

“Thank you for teaching and guiding me when I was still starting in public service. Your legacy as a public servant will always be remembered by all Dagupenyo,” said Fernandez.

Manaois served as vice mayor for three consecutive terms from 1992 to 2001. He was city councilor from 1988 to 1992.

He is survived by his wife Teresita who is incidentally the City Accountant and children Winky, Winston and Sharone. (Joseph C. Bacani/CIO/July 4, 2016)
