Dagupan conducts summer sports clinic




DAGUPAN CITY - The Dagupan City Sports Commission (DCSC) is now conducting a summer sports clinic for children who are willing to learn the sports of arnis, badminton, archery, table tennis, chess, futsal and swimming.

The training for free commenced April 4 and will end on May 28.

“We are making summer fun for our young Dagupenyos as we give them sports clinic through the Dagupan City Sports Commission under our BTF Does it program by developing our excellence in sports,” said Mayor Belen T. Fernandez.
 
The mayor invited every child in the city to avail of the program.

For anis, there will be five sessions for 7 to 12 years old with 100 slots available.

Archery will have five sessions with 80 slots for 9 to 12 years old and 120 slots for 13 to 15 years old.

Chess will have 10 sessions with 50 slots for 7 to 12 years old and another 50 slots for 13 to 15 years old.

Futsal will have 12 sessions with 100 slots for 6 to 12 years old and another 100 slots for 13 to 15 years old.

Badminton will have six sessions with 150 slots for 9 to 12 years old and 100 slots for 13 to 14 years old.
 
Table tennis will have 15 sessions with 200 slots for 7 to 12 years old and swimming will have five sessions (,2 hours per session) with 700 slots for 7 to 12 years old.
