April 15, last day of tax payment at BIR

CALASIAO – The acting regional director of the Bureau of Internal Revenue said that April 15 would be the last day of the filling of the 2015 tax return all over the country.

Region-1 Acting Regional Director Ed Pagulayan said taxpayers in the four provinces’ BIR Region -1 office should promptly pay their taxes to avoid penalties.
“They should file too their first quarter income tax,” he declared by referring to this year’s payment.
New Assistant Revenue District Office-4’s chief Trina Villamil said that tax payers should avoid filling in the last day to avoid long queue and even being cut off in the line because of the deadline.
Director Pagulayan said the tax goal this year of the regional office, that is based here, is P12 billon while Villamil said the tax target of RDO-4, that controls Central Pangasinan, is P4.38 billion.
The tax goal last year for the region was P11 billion while the target for RDO-4 was P3.3 billion.
