P80M budget to fund projects in Mangaldan

MANGALDAN – The mayor here expects P40 million from the roughly P200 million municipal budget for fiscal year 2016 will be passed by this town’s legislative body in October so she can fund her various projects.

With the other P40 million loans from the Land Bank of the Philippines in the pipe line, this burgeoning town will be seeing a P80 million mega projects next year.
Mayor Bona Fe D. Parayno also cited her business development program that would be funded by the 20% of the municipal budget next year.
She will also hire two nurses to man the dialysis center that would be constructed near the infirmary clinic here.

She said the program of works and design of the dialysis clinic are almost done.
One of the projects from the 20% development fund, Parayno said, is the re-facing of the public market that would cost the coffer here P10 million.

She said the worn out buildings at the Phase 2 of the public market would be dismantled in the first week of October in preparation for the construction of the new edifice funded by the P40 million loans from the LBP – Dagupan City Branch.
“Pag sasabihan na ang mga business owners ng relocation area nila”.


She said the local government unit here waits for the review and approval of the Sanggunian Panlalawigan (S.P or provincial legislature) of the resolution this town’s submitted there for a while.

The approval of the SP sometimes in October is one of the requisites by LBP to start for the release of the P40 million loans.
