Limgas na Pangasinan 2015 screening set on March 7-8




Lingayen -- The grandest search for Limgas na Pangasinan 2015 is on!

            Limgas na Pangasinan is the most-anticipated celebration of femininity and beauty in the province which gathers together beauteous Pangasinense maidens vying for the crown and the distinction of becoming the province’s ambassadress of goodwill.

            Screening schedules have been set on March 7, Saturday, 1-5PM at Urdaneta District Hospital in Urdaneta City while on the following day, March 8, aspirants may join the screening at the Conference Hall of Malong building, here, from 1-5PM.

            Assistant Provincial Health Office Jeremy Agerico ‘Ming’ Rosario is tasked to head this year’s Limgas search.        

            Rosario, former fourth district board member, invites beautiful and intelligent Pangasinense maidens from various municipalities and cities in the province to join in said search that forms part of the annual Pistay Dayat (Sea Festival) celebration.

            Pistay Dayat takes off few days after the staging of Agew na Pangasinan (Pangasinan Day) every April 5th and ends first week of May.

            A hopeful Limgas candidate must meet the following qualifications: single, 16-23 years old (at least a high school graduating student), at least 5’4 in height, can communicate well and of a good moral character and pleasing personality.

Aspiring candidates are advised ‘not to wear make-up’ during the screening.

The following requirements are required during the screening: fully filled-up application; copy of high school diploma and/or certification from her school that she belongs to the graduating class; photocopy of NSO-certified birth certificate, barangay certificate and police clearance; cocktail dress, two-piece swimsuit and at least three-inch heeled shoes; and one (1) 2X2 picture, one (1) whole body and one (1) close up shots.
