Point-of-Care targets uninsured indigent families

 Assistant Provincial Health Officer Jeremy Rosario (standing, right) and PhilHealth Regional Vice President Elvira Ver (standing, left) lead the orientation on the “Point of Care (POC)” enrolment program implementation among health workers from the 14 provincial government-owned hospitals at the Capitol Resort Hotel in Lingayen last October 7. Under the POC scheme, non-members of PhilHealth who are admitted at any POC participating government hospital shall be automatically insured to PhilHealth if they qualify on the assessment as indigent patient administered by the Medical Social Worker at the time of the confinement.  /
